Students from the University visited us.

They wanted to know what students in yera 9 were thinking about today’s climate change.

Exampels of questions that were discussed: 

– What do you think of when it comes to climate change?

– Where have learned most about the climate (school/media/at home)

-How often do you think of the climate change?

– How do you think the climat change will influence your future.

– How often are you worried?

-What can you do to change the climate?

December 16th
The Hour of Code is a global movement reaching tens of millions of students in 180+ countries.
The Hour of Code is a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify code and show that anybody can learn the basics. Every student should have the opportunity to learn computer science. It helps nurture problem-solving skills, logic and creativity.
November 16-17th
“Run for your life” was a relay race through northern of Europe to call for climate justice and a sustainable future. The relay started from the Arctic region and ended up in Paris at the climate conference COP21. You can’t run to Paris on you own but together it was shown to be possible! The race covered more than 4000 km, lasted for 20 days and involved thousands of people. Headmasters and headmistresses in Norrköping made a deal and participated, one of them was, Marika Andersson, one of our two headmistesses of Ektorpsskolan. Everything was filmed and broadcasted live on runforyourlife.nu. Run for your life was initiated by the Swedish National Theatre. In the middle of November the race had reached Östergötland our, region.

November, 2015
We worked on the logo to our project. Here are a few very nice logos that were made by pupils.
Oct 21st 2015
We had the school opened for the public. A lot of pupils that will start in our school were there and of course we wanted to show our international work with Erasmus. The aim was to inform and to reach as many student as possible.
Autumn 2015, this lesson is from Oct 15th
Students in year 9 are working on their future houses.
